Some essential tips to help you get work done remotely in these uncertain times:
Many businesses ended up in the news over security and data breaches in 2017. Often tens if not hundreds of millions of people are affected. Smaller breaches don’t even get reported. We are constantly on the lookout for such risks with our clients. Even then it can be difficult to stay ahead of this cat & mouse game.
Reduce Risk & Exposure
Our Cybersecurity Assessment will cover the following areas of your network:
- Scan network for potential vulnerabilities
- Examine firewall for security and optimal performance
- Verify wireless network security
- Validate wireless network coverage
- Audit servers for errors and vulnerabilities
- Review servers for optimal performance / configuration
- Check state of security patches on computers
- Evaluate overall environment for omissions/missing configurations
It’s impossible to make guarantees. Going through the above checklist will heighten the overall health and security of the network, however. We will prioritize any issues we find into High, Medium and Low Risk categories. We will work with you to find the best solutions to these issues and increase the security of your network.

“We are humbled to once again have the opportunity to support Lighthouse for Life. Human trafficking is on the rise all over the Midlands region and across the state. We believe that every man woman and child deserves to be loved, treated fairly with respect and dignity. Lighthouse for Life is doing tremendous work to bring hope to seemingly hopeless situations by providing training to first responders and will soon be rehabilitating victims. They are incredibly close to having their shelter open and we are extremely grateful that we get to be a part of this event. We are grateful for our clients who allow us to help make this race a possibility.”– Zoltan Borbely, Founder

The events of the past few days in Texas have brought back many memories of the devastation we faced here in Columbia less than two years ago. The need is great and the resources available much fewer. For this reason we are committing to operating off of our savings for the month of September and donating 100% of our revenues to relief efforts going on in Texas. We are not a large corporation with deep pockets so this is a huge deal for us. Regardless, we feel compelled to do this so that we can help our brothers and sisters who are in need.
So, how can we help your business this month above and beyond what we normally do? If everything is great for you, perhaps you could refer us to someone who might need help?
Spes Technologies is proud to announce its sponsorship of the 2017 SC WOD for the Fallen as well as the SC Run for the Fallen.

Spes Technologies is proud to announce it’s sponsorship of the 2017 Lighthouse for Life 5k.
Scheduled for February 25, 2017 the first annual Lighthouse for Life 5K, mapped throughout the Irmo side of Saluda Shoals Park, benefits Lighthouse for Life. The mission of this non-profit organization is to bring awareness to, help prevent and rehabilitate victims of human/sex trafficking throughout South Carolina.
We already know that time is the ultimate currency. We fully believe that well rested workers are generally happier and will be more productive. The difficult question is how to get there. We believe that it’s on key decision makers to highlight the importance of rest and then help individuals on their team realize that objective.
The way it looks for us is that we’ll continue to provide the same high quality service that we always have but for the last two weeks of the year we are not scheduling non-essential work. We will continue to work and handle emergencies and business impacting events as always but any work that does not fall into those two categories will be scheduled after January 1. This will give us a chance to unwind, tie up some loose ends, get some last minute shopping done and also spend a little extra time with those we love.
See you next year!
Scheduled for April 9, 2016, the second annual One Run Columbia 5K/10K, mapped throughout the Earlewood neighborhood, benefits Ezekiel Ministries and Young Life Columbia.
